Critical Care Registered Nurse

Position: Critical Care Registered Nurse at Humber River Health
Excel in delivering compassionate critical care at Humber River Health. This temporary full-time Registered Nurse position focuses on patient-centered care for the critically ill in our state-of-the-art facility.

As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide care for acutely ill cardiac, medical, and surgical patients. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you will utilize advanced technologies and engage in patient-centered planning to ensure optimal outcomes. With your expertise, you will monitor patients with hemodynamic and ventilation needs while documenting care using computerized systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Care for critically ill patients including cardiac and surgical cases

• Monitor hemodynamic and ventilation requirements

• Plan and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams

• Document patient care using computerized systems

• Participate in hospital committees and project teams

Requirements:

• Current RN registration with Ontario College of Nurses

• BCLS certification; ACLS preferred

• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience

• Critical Care Certificate is required

• Knowledge of equity, diversity, inclusion in healthcare
