Project Manager for OR Nursing Education

In this Project Manager role, you will lead initiatives that enhance recruitment and retention of OR nursing staff while mentoring novice nurses. Collaborating with experienced personnel, you’ll ensure a welcoming environment and empower novice staff to achieve their learning goals. Your contributions will significantly impact the operational efficiency and culture in the OR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead recruitment initiatives for OR nursing

• Provide daily guidance to novice nurses

• Advocate for learning opportunities and partnerships

• Consult with faculty regarding student progress

• Assist in creating success plans for struggling nurses

Requirements:

• Valid RN registration with CNO Ontario

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required

• Minimum five years of current OR nursing experience

• Perioperative Certification preferred

• Proven leadership and time management skills
