RN in Complex Medical Care Unit

Become a Registered Nurse in the K1W complex medical unit at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. This role promotes patient-focused care amidst a supportive multidisciplinary team environment.

As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include total patient care management for individuals facing various medical challenges, from palliation to dialysis. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage total patient care and assistance with ADLs

• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams for patient support

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify care needs

• Provide specialized support for dialysis and oncology patients

• Communicate effectively with families regarding care plans

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario RN registration

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

• GPA or PEICES certification viewed favorably

• Preferred experience in oncology or palliative care

• Proficient conflict resolution and assessment abilities
