This role is pivotal in supporting patients’ recovery in UHN’s Spinal Cord Rehab Program. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will provide education and contribute to a comprehensive care plan. Your commitment to patient safety and health promotion will directly impact the lives of patients within this supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide education on health promotion to patients
• Work collaboratively with the inter-professional team
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans
• Offer safe, competent nursing care to patients
• Participate in educational activities for new staff
Requirements:
• Valid RPN certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Completion of recent health assessment course
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation care
• Familiarity with rehabilitation principles
• Ability to monitor clinical status and intervene
