As an integral part of the care team at the TEHN Surgical Centre, the Registered Practical Nurse will utilize nursing competencies to provide effective patient care. With 2–5 years of experience in surgical suites, you'll perform scrubbing, circulating, and caregiving tasks. This role emphasizes both independent work and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in major and minor surgical procedures

• Maintain patient flow within the ambulatory services environment

• Set up for ambulatory ophthalmology patients

• Anticipate patient needs during diverse minor surgery

• Participate in unit quality initiatives and measurements

Requirements:

• Valid RPN certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• BCLS certification and peri-anesthesia course completion

• 2-5 years recent surgical experience required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work all shifts and within diverse settings
