As a permanent full-time Registered Nurse, you will serve a diverse community in North West Toronto. This role requires 2 years of recent experience in medical/surgical settings, where you will be involved in care planning, multidisciplinary coordination, and mentoring new team members. Your strong critical thinking and organizational skills will be vital in delivering high-quality care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage general medicine and geriatric inpatient care
• Coordinate care with various healthcare team members
• Document patient care using computerized systems
• Participate in project teams or hospital committees
• Mentor new hires and nursing students
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS certification
• Minimum 2 years medical/surgical experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion in health
