Join a dedicated team in the Cardiology Unit, where you'll play a crucial role in telemetry monitoring and patient care coordination. This position is ideal for nurses with experience in acute medical and coronary care, contributing to comprehensive patient treatment plans. You will be responsible for the preceptorship of nursing students and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care for acutely ill cardio-respiratory patients
• Perform telemetry monitoring and care planning
• Document patient care using computerized systems
• Lead and participate in project teams or committees
• Preceptor for new nurses and students
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS certification required
• 2 years acute medical/surgical experience preferred
• Experience in coronary care or telemetry preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
