As an Advanced Practice Nurse at the Schulich Heart Centre, you will develop best practices while working closely with nursing leaders and the Patient Care team. This role emphasizes clinical excellence, mentorship, and participation in research to improve patient care. You will help identify educational needs and lead programs that foster professional growth among nursing staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop best clinical practices for Cardiac Care areas
• Lead patient centered care integration initiatives
• Address educational needs of the Patient Care team
• Conduct and integrate multidisciplinary research projects
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in Nursing or related field preferred
• 5 years clinical experience in relevant field
• Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
• Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
• Demonstrated teaching and leadership abilities
