Elevate nursing education at The Safehaven Project for Community Living as a Clinical Nurse Educator in Toronto. Shape the skills of staff and students through direct consultation and innovative learning experiences.
In this key role, you will combine clinical knowledge and educational theory to develop and implement programs that enhance the capabilities of nurses and Residential Support Workers. Your leadership will focus on professional development, guiding staff in caring for individuals with complex medical needs, while collaborating with external partners to improve practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement educational programs for nursing staff
• Provide consultation and direct support in clinical settings
• Evaluate and enhance nursing practices through feedback
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on best practices
• Engage in research and innovative learning methodologies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum five years nursing experience in related fields
• Registered Nurse with current Ontario certification
• Strong teaching, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel for community-based support
