In this role, you will assess complex trauma patients and collaborate with RNs to implement effective care plans. A commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement is essential as you engage in critical thinking to meet patient needs. Your contributions will play a key role in the interprofessional healthcare team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and address the health needs of trauma patients
• Conduct and reassess patient assessments continuously
• Apply evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes
• Engage in professional growth and quality initiatives
• Educate and support patients for successful discharge
Requirements:
• Active RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current CPR certification and 1 year of acute care experience
• IV and phlebotomy skills are an asset
• Strong teamwork and critical-thinking capabilities
• Dedication to ethical care and safe practices
