Health Association Nova Scotia is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for various continuing care positions throughout the Western Zone. Your passion for patient care can truly make a difference!
This role allows you to provide essential nursing services alongside Registered Nurses while taking on supervisory duties for Continuing Care Attendants. You’ll help clients of all ages experience dignity and support, either in long-term care facilities or home care environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with key personal care needs
• Transfer patients using appropriate equipment
• Understand and administer client medications
• Provide nighttime monitoring and support
• Encourage community integration through outings
Requirements:
• Current or eligible license with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses
