Position: Practical Nurse for Acute Care Team
Join a dedicated health care team as a Registered Practical Nurse specializing in acute care for orthopedic and neurosurgery patients. Deliver person-centred care and collaborate with Registered Nurses to enhance patient outcomes.

In this role, the RPN will provide essential support in a fast-paced environment focusing on orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, and trauma care. You will work independently and alongside colleagues to assess, plan, and deliver nursing interventions while constantly improving patient experiences. A commitment to continual professional development and quality improvement is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify care needs of patients and families

• Conduct assessments and planning for patient care

• Implement evidence-based interventions and evaluate outcomes

• Collaborate with RNs for comprehensive patient care

• Educate patients and families for effective discharge planning

Requirements:

• Current RPN registration with no practice restrictions

• Heart and Stroke Foundation CPR certification

• Preferred diploma in RPN with acute care experience

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ongoing commitment to quality practice and patient safety
