Humber River Health is seeking a committed Registered Practical Nurse to join our professional team. You will work collaboratively with Registered Respiratory Therapists to care for acutely ill and chronically ventilated patients.
Your role involves a blend of nursing responsibilities and patient health education, all while adhering to our values of equity and inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care to patients with respiratory conditions
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists on patient care
• Administer medications and manage complex wounds
• Conduct patient health teaching and education
• Follow departmental RPN responsibilities and protocols
Requirements:
• Two-year RPN diploma from a recognized program
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Valid BCLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of acute medical/surgical experience
• Familiarity with Meditech and basic computer skills
