Position: Hybrid RN First Assistant Role

This RNFA role requires collaboration with physicians and team members at both the Bayview and Holland campuses. Candidates should possess a strong clinical background, assisting in regional anaesthetics and ensuring optimal patient outcomes during surgeries. Adaptability is essential, as the RNFA will also engage in teaching and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply nursing processes in all aspects of the RNFA role

• Ensure a safe working environment for team and patients

• Foster collegiality, teamwork, and conflict management

• Act as a patient advocate and communicate with families

Requirements:

• Current active CNOLicense

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.Sc.N)

• Certified in Perioperative Nursing (CPN (C))

• Minimum five years of O.R. experience

• Two years in orthopaedic O.R.
