Reporting to the Director of Interprofessional Practice, the Interprofessional Practice Chief will collaborate with staff, physicians, and leadership teams. This role is geared towards advancing nursing standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering effective communication across disciplines. You will also represent nursing on various committees and lead initiatives that align with the organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership for nursing practice in interprofessional settings
• Collaborate with LTC and hospital leadership for skill alignment
• Recommend resources for discipline development and training
• Implement communication strategies for discipline awareness
• Lead nursing practice affairs and participate in related committees
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum five years of advanced practice nursing experience
• Experience in complex healthcare environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
