Your role will center on specialized care and therapy coordination.
This position offers 18.75 hours of work per week within a collaborative academic practice environment. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will manage comprehensive assessments, prescribe therapies, and lead treatment plans for patients aged 15-25 with pediatric-type CNS tumors. Your expertise will directly impact shared care initiatives and patient-centered outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and prescribe therapies for AYA patients
• Manage acute and chronic complications including neurological deficits
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and services
• Assist families in navigating complex treatment plans
• Participate in research initiatives and clinical trials
Requirements:
• Registration in the Extended Class of the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Master's degree and relevant experience in neuro-oncology
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to collaborative practice required
