Humber River Health seeks a Full-Time Registered Nurse for its Operating Room.

Your role will involve scrubbing, circulating, and contributing to high-quality surgical care.

This Registered Nurse position at Humber River Health is critical to the Surgical Program. Staff will work 8-hour shifts on weekdays and be available for evenings and weekends. Candidates should have an Operating Room Certificate or equivalent experience. You will function as a key team member, ensuring surgical standards are maintained and patients receive exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scrubbing and circulating duties for surgeries

• Collaborate with surgical teams on procedures

• Ensure adherence to applicable ORNAC standards

• Demonstrate organizational skills in challenging situations

• Maintain effective communication with the healthcare team

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse registration in Ontario

• Essential Operating Room Certificate or experience

• One year of recent OR experience preferred

• BCLS certification upon hire

• Demonstrated ability to work well in diverse teams
