Drive clinical excellence in ENT and Dentistry as the Permanent Team Leader. This position focuses on improving patient care and staff coordination within the operating room environment.
Located at the Bayview site, this role requires collaboration with the Patient Care Manager and Advanced Practice Nurse. The Permanent Team Leader will lead efforts to enhance clinical skills and a cooperative atmosphere among staff. Candidates must demonstrate leadership and problem-solving abilities, ensuring a beneficial surgical experience for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage patient care strategies in ENT & Dentistry
• Work with management on clinical issue resolution
• Lead staff training initiatives for surgical competencies
• Guarantee a positive perioperative environment
• Demonstrate exemplary communication and professionalism
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario registration and B.C.L.S. certification
• Completed post-graduate O.R. course
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent
• Significant recent O.R. experience in specialty
• Preference for candidates with leadership experience
