As a Renal Specialized Nurse, your role involves working within an interdisciplinary team to support patients with kidney diseases. You will need a minimum of one year in a Renal Unit and be adept at using hospital software to ensure efficient patient management. Strong critical thinking skills are necessary to thrive in this fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct renal assessments and monitor patient health metrics
• Manage dialysis procedures and respond to complications
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for effective patient care
• Educate families on renal health and treatment processes
• Comply with health regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
• Valid Registered Nursing License with the Provincial College of Nurses
• Current CPR, ACLS, C-Neph Certifications
• Minimum of 1 year Renal Unit experience
• Up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Screen
• Professional Liability Insurance
