Position: UHN Registered Practical Nurse Role
Make a difference in healthcare at West Park Healthcare as a Registered Practical Nurse. This part-time role focuses on compassionate patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

You will join UHN in the Acquired Brain Injury Rehab Department, where your expertise in nursing care planning and teamwork will directly benefit patients and families. This role involves mentoring fellow RPNs and engaging in ongoing professional development, all while adhering to patient safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage patient care nursing within your scope

• Use interdisciplinary insights for patient care planning

• Collaborate during team rounds and family conferences

• Guide RPN students and new staff in effective practices

• Commit to compliance with hospital safety plans

Requirements:

• Must hold registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• A diploma in Practical Nursing is essential

• Clinical experience in neuroscience nursing preferred

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and resilience

• Familiarity with electronic health records required
