This role offers an opportunity to deliver personalized patient care while facilitating hemodialysis treatments in Ontario.
We seek an experienced RPN with a solid background in hemodialysis and acute care. You will be responsible for patient assessments, education, and monitoring treatments while working collaboratively with RNs. Your contributions to quality improvement initiatives will enhance patient safety and care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage initiation and monitoring of hemodialysis processes
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and health education
• Troubleshoot hemodialysis machines as needed
• Participate actively in quality improvement and research
• Ensure compliance with documentation and safety procedures
Requirements:
• License in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current B.C.L.S. Certificate required
• 1 year of recent hemodialysis experience
• Ideally 2 years in acute care settings
• Commitment to pursuing further nephrology education
