This experienced RN position involves leading a team in the Medical Withdrawal Service for a 12-month period. You will work closely with MWS and Addiction Program leadership, overseeing nurse assignments and facilitating an inclusive workplace. A strong background in mental health and addictions is essential, along with proven clinical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee service delivery and nurse assignments
• Coordinate staff breaks and reports on unit needs
• Support orientation for new and graduate nurses
• Manage clinical rounds, huddles, and care conferences
• Ensure accurate patient census and reporting
Requirements:
• Current member of the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum two years in mental health and addictions
•
B.Sc.N. or pursuing psychiatric nursing certification
• Expertise in crisis intervention and harm reduction
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
