At Baycrest, the Registered Practical Nurse is essential in implementing individualized care and Possibilities Plans for residents of the Terraces Memory Residence. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in geriatric nursing and customer service, particularly working with older adults who exhibit responsive behaviors. Focus on supporting the personal goals of each resident, while collaborating with families to foster well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate community development and provide tailored education

• Respond to urgent care needs for residents efficiently

• Manage minor illnesses and health issues

• Educate clients on chronic illness management

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Two years of gerontological nursing experience

• Five years in Primary Care and acute care environments

• Communication and problem-solving skills proficiency
