Registered Nurse in Critical Care at Sunnybrook

Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, your responsibilities will include patient assessment, intervention, and education. Collaborating with the healthcare team and adhering to Patient-Centred Care principles will be vital. You will also need to demonstrate flexibility in managing unit assignments across level II and III ICUs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments

• Implement nursing interventions for critical care

• Educate patients and support family involvement

• Work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams

• Adapt to various unit staffing needs

Requirements:

• Current Ontario College of Nurses registration

• Valid BCLS; ACLS preferred

• Preferred Baccalaureate degree in Nursing

• Critical Care Certificate or related experience

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
