Join HERO CARE for an exciting nursing contract focused on enhancing surgical care in Regina, Saskatchewan. Candidates should have a Registered Nursing License and at least a year of OR experience. This role emphasizes collaboration with medical teams and a commitment to high standards of patient care, ensuring safety and efficiency during procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate effectively with surgical and anesthetic teams
• Conduct preoperative assessments verifying patient readiness
• Manage sterile instrumentation and assist in surgeries
• Continuously evaluate patient condition during surgeries
• Provide education on pre and postoperative procedures
Requirements:
• Must maintain Registered Nursing License with the Provincial College
• At least 1 year experience in an Operating Room setting
• Current certifications: CPR, ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC
• Professional Liability Insurance required
• Recent Vulnerable Sector Check necessary
