Nursing Leadership Project Manager

Lead nursing initiatives as a Project Manager in the Operating Room, focusing on recruitment and mentorship for novice nurses. Create impactful learning environments for students.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing the OR experience for both novice nurses and students.

Your role will include close collaboration with nursing leadership and instructional staff to ensure that all learners receive appropriate guidance. Your proactive approach to fostering a welcoming atmosphere will decrease staff turnover and improve retention rates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide novice nurses in their clinical development

• Implement recruitment strategies for OR staff

• Collaborate on clinical assignments with nurse leaders

• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

• Report updates on learner progress to Nursing Education

Requirements:

• Registered RN with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Five years of recent OR nursing experience

• BScN required;
Master’s degree preferred

• Must hold a Perioperative Certificate

• Previous leadership experience is an asset
