This role requires you to work collaboratively with the healthcare team in both level II and III ICUs. Your skills in critical care and patient advocacy will be essential to meet the diverse needs of critically ill patients. Flexibility and effective communication will enhance your impact in delivering patient-centered care in alignment with Sunnybrook’s core values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive assessments for ICU patients
• Implement interventions and educate families on care
• Advocate passionately for patient needs and concerns
• Work across ICU units to meet staffing requirements
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
• Registered with the Ontario College of Nurses
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Critical Care certification essential for this role
• Recent commitment to ongoing education in critical care
