Step into a pivotal role as a Clinical Coordinator at Humber River Health’s Operating Room, shaping patient care through effective leadership and innovation. Foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes safety and efficiency.
In this full-time, permanent position, you'll oversee daily operations in the Operating Room while coordinating staff and activities to enhance patient care.
Your role includes ensuring high standards of practice, scheduling surgical cases, and implementing effective use of resources. Your expertise in surgical practices will guide the team in delivering exceptional outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations and ensure quality patient care
• Manage surgical case scheduling and staffing assignments
• Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff daily
• Implement hospital policies and upholding professional standards
• Facilitate staff development and advanced clinical practices
Requirements:
• Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least 3 years of peri-operative services experience
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
• Operating Room Certification is a plus
• Proven skills in communication and problem-solving
