Humber River Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for a temporary part time position applying expertise in minor surgical clinics. This position involves caring for patients after surgeries, assisting physicians with orthopedic procedures, and being actively involved in departmental initiatives. Computerized patient documentation is an essential aspect of your daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct scrubbing and circulating tasks in clinics
• Manage care for patients post-surgery
• Aid in orthopedic procedures with physicians
• Collaborate in departmental committees
• Develop and coordinate comprehensive care plans
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification necessary
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV therapy and patient assessment
• Understanding of health equity and inclusion
