The Interprofessional Practice Chief reports directly to the Director of Interprofessional Practice and Pharmacy, focusing on aligning strategic priorities across disciplines. In this leadership position, you will work to enhance professional development, manage compliance with regulatory standards, and support education initiatives. You will also be a voice for nursing on various committees, influencing policy and practice at multiple levels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the advancement of nursing practices across the organization
• Ensure staff competency and skills alignment within LTC and hospital settings
• Identify and develop resources for training and discipline needs
• Develop communication strategies for nursing issues
• Represent nursing on professional committees and lead program initiatives
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Five years of advanced practice nursing with older adults
• Leadership experience in healthcare settings preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
