Join Age Care Trilogy in Scarborough as a Registered Practical Nurse, providing professional nursing care to residents. Collaborate with the health care team to ensure every resident's needs are met.
As a part-time Registered Practical Nurse, you will work hand-in-hand with Registered Nurses to uphold Age Care’s policies on your unit.
Your role involves liaising with physicians and guiding the Personal Support Workers according to best practices. You will also ensure timely communication of any vital changes in resident care to physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized nursing care in a collaborative environment
• Direct Personal Support Workers’ daily care activities
• Participate in medical documentation and shift reports
• Review and revise nursing procedures and practices
• Communicate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and acts
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dedication to providing quality resident care
