This position involves working collaboratively with Registered Nurses and the healthcare team, implementing policies, and providing important nursing care. Your guidance to Personal Support Workers will help ensure that residents receive the best possible care. Important duties include maintaining communication with healthcare partners and participating in essential shift reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care in accordance with professional standards
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective care
• Guide Personal Support Workers through care processes
• Notify physicians of significant changes in resident health
• Participate actively in daily shift reports and updates
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Background in long-term care or rehabilitation nursing
