As part of the nursing staff in the Cardiology Unit, you will care for patients with acute coronary syndrome and coordinate patient treatments. This role is perfect for RNs with coronary care and telemetry experience, providing the opportunity to lead nursing students and participate in hospital committees. You'll utilize your skills in assessment and care documentation effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Care for patients with established cardiac conditions
• Monitor telemetry and document patient status accurately
• Collaborate with team members for coordinated care
• Participate in committees for patient care improvement
• Mentor nursing students as needed
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS certification is essential
• At least 2 years of acute medical/surgical nursing experience
• Commitment to complete Coronary Care 1 and 2
• Strong organizational and communication skills
