Join Humber River Health as a Registered Nurse in the Nephrology Program. Deliver essential care and education for patients on hemodialysis in a collaborative environment.
As a temporary full-time RN at the Church site, you will focus on chronic disease prevention and management in kidney care. This role demands expertise in hemodialysis, with requirements including two years of acute care nursing experience. Your commitment will contribute to meaningful patient outcomes while working closely with a skilled team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer comprehensive care for patients in hemodialysis
• Educate patients regarding their treatment and self-management
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop care plans
• Update patient care plans in a timely manner
• Respond effectively in emergency clinical situations
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum of two years acute Medical/Surgical experience
• At least two years of recent Hemodialysis experience
• BScN preferred and commitment to nephrology certification
• Effective communication and patient assessment skills
