Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse at Sunnybrook
Become an integral member of the Emergency Department at Sunnybrook as a Registered Nurse. Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional care for trauma patients while utilizing your skills in assessment and education.

As a Registered Nurse reporting to the Patient Care Manager, you will be responsible for comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment.

Your role will require you to assess, intervene, educate, and advocate for emergency and trauma patients. Previous experience in Emergency nursing is essential, ensuring your readiness to meet the needs of our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs in the Emergency Department

• Provide education and support to patients and families

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care

• Advocate for patients while following Person-Focused Care principles

• Adapt effectively to rapidly changing work environments

Requirements:

• Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred

• Minimum two years of Emergency experience

• Current B.C.L.S. and A.C.L.S certification

• Commitment to continuing education in Emergency care
