Join The Safehaven Project for Community Living as a Nursing Educator focused on enhancing education for nursing professionals in our supportive Toronto settings. This role integrates clinical expertise and teaching methodologies.
You will play a crucial role in developing programs to advance the professional skills of staff and supporting those who care for individuals facing medical complexities. Your efforts will ensure high-quality, inclusive education and client-centered care, making a lasting difference in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop educational materials tailored for diverse audiences
• Lead evaluations of nursing performance and skills
• Oversee direct patient care and staff training
• Foster collaborative relationships with community partners
• Participate in quality improvement projects for nursing
Requirements:
• BScN required; graduate level education an asset
• Active RN license in Ontario with good standing
• Five years of relevant nursing experience
• Certification in Infection Control preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication capabilities
