Located at the TEHN Surgical Centre, this role requires Registered Practical Nurses to collaborate with healthcare professionals and apply their clinical competencies effectively. You will bring 2–5 years of surgical experience, ensuring patient-centered practices and efficient workflows while assisting in the operating room and providing effective communication with patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub and assist during surgical procedures

• Support patient mobility within the surgical unit

• Prepare and care for ophthalmology patients pre, intra, and post-op

• Aid in facilitating minor surgery procedures

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives in the surgical setting

Requirements:

• Current RPN certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Completion of the BCLS and peri-anesthesia course

• 2 to 5 years of surgical suite experience

• Solid interpersonal and communication skills

• Willingness to work varied shifts in all surgical areas
