Humber River Health is looking for a qualified Registered Practical Nurse dedicated to improving patient outcomes. You will work alongside a dynamic team, addressing the healthcare needs of patients requiring ventilator support and other treatments. Your commitment to fostering an inclusive environment will play a crucial role in our mission to provide high-quality care to the diverse community we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Care for patients on ventilators and with respiratory problems
• Collaborate with respiratory specialists in treatment plans
• Perform wound care and medication administration
• Engage in patient teaching and health education
• Uphold departmental RPN responsibilities
Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized RPN diploma program
• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS certification
• Experience with ventilators preferred
• Strong organizational skills and a positive attendance record
