Serve as a key healthcare provider at Villa Colombo Toronto as a Nurse Practitioner, enhancing health outcomes for residents in a part-time capacity. Focus on comprehensive assessments and effective health management.
This position is for a dedicated nursing professional experienced in geriatric or long-term care. Your clinical leadership will foster a quality environment for residents while mentoring staff to provide exceptional care. You will be integral to the interdisciplinary team's approach to health monitoring and education within Villa Colombo's supportive culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support interdisciplinary teams with clinical leadership
• Enhance staff capabilities through education and mentorship
• Collaborate on resident care plans with physicians
• Facilitate safety and quality improvement in care
• Analyze trends in resident care for educational needs
Requirements:
• At least one year in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing
• Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses in the Extended Class
• Familiarity with regulatory health acts is essential
• Leadership skills preferred
• Knowledge of Italian is beneficial
