As a Registered Practical Nurse at Sienna Senior Living, you will play a vital role in enhancing residents' well-being through comprehensive care and support. This position requires current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, as well as experience in geriatric nursing. You will prepare and administer medications, document client concerns, and promote self-sufficiency among clients, all while supporting unregulated care workers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications as directed
• Document client concerns and coordinate with Registered Nurse
• Promote wellness through health education and self-care
• Complete assessments and care plans promptly
• Support unregulated care workers in training and direction
Requirements:
• Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Medication Administration Certificate required
• Minimum one year in Geriatric Nursing
• Pass Vulnerable Sector Check and health screenings
