Registered Nurse - Coronary Care at SHN

Join Scarborough Health Network as a Registered Nurse in the Coronary Care Unit. This role focuses on providing exceptional care in a multidisciplinary team environment across flexible shifts.

As a Registered Nurse in the CCU, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and critical care specialists while participating actively in the hospital's Code Response Team. Your effective communication and organizational skills will enhance patient outcomes and foster a supportive nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate nursing care in CCU setting

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for patient support

• Implement care plans and execute critical care interventions

• Participate in hospital Code Response Team activities

• Ensure compliance with SHN safety and conduct standards

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Ontario

• BScN preferred, ACLS certification needed

• Level 3 Critical Care experience essential

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to work independently in stressful situations
