As a temporary part-time nurse, you'll play a critical role in assessing and managing care for patients. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you'll focus on developing care plans and fostering family-centered approaches. Your experience with computerized documentation is essential for efficient patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Care for acutely ill and ventilated patients
• Participate in inter-professional care coordination
• Perform assessments and create patient care plans
• Document care accurately in computerized systems
• Facilitate nursing mentorship for students and new hires
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS certification required within three months
• Respiratory nursing experience preferred
• Two years of acute inpatient experience desired
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
