Registered Practical Nurse in Hemodialysis Care

As part of our healthcare team, you will utilize your nursing skills in patient assessments, health teaching, and machine operation. Previous hemodialysis experience is essential as you will actively monitor patient hemodynamic changes and work closely with registered nurses. Engage in improving healthcare quality through research and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute initiation and cessation of hemodialysis treatment
• Assess patient health and provide thorough counselling
• Troubleshoot hemodialysis machinery effectively
• Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives
• Document care provided in compliance with safety policies
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• B.C.L.S. certification required
• At least 1 year of hemodialysis experience
• Preferred 2 years in an acute care environment
• Intent to further nephrology training within 1 year
