Primary Nurse in Geriatric Care

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the total care of assigned residents

• Emphasize Person-Centred Care in nursing practices

• Function collaboratively within the nursing team

• Assess and support residents with mental health needs

• Communicate effectively with residents and colleagues

Requirements:

• Registration with the Ontario CNO

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Background in geriatric nursing

• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction

• Computer literacy for care documentation
