Position: Humber River RPN for Nephrology Program
Work with Humber River Health as a Registered Practical Nurse focusing on the Nephrology Program, offering quality patient care in a temporary role. This position emphasizes a patient-centered approach.

As a vital member of the healthcare team, you'll provide essential care for patients undergoing hemodialysis. The role involves patient education, engagement in quality assurance, and collaboration to enhance patient support and access to care services. Your experience and skills will directly impact the lives of those you care for, ensuring effective management of nephrology health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer care for patients in hemodialysis

• Educate patients about their treatment and self-management

• Participate in quality assurance initiatives

• Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate patient records

• Assist in providing care for the Transition Care Unit as assigned

Requirements:

• RPN graduate from an accredited nursing program

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred

• Background in hemodialysis an asset

• Strong interpersonal and assessment skills
