Position: Registered Nurse for Birthing Unit

This temporary full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients. You will focus on assessment and complete patient care during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.

Experience with cesarean births and proficiency in IV therapy will enhance your application as you work in a team devoted to clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns

• Scrub and circulate for cesarean births as required

• Educate and support patients and families effectively

• Flexibly work in the Mother Baby Unit when necessary

• Ensure best practices for assessment and patient stabilization

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent Birthing Unit experience is mandatory

• NRP and Fetal Monitoring certification required

• Ability to initiate IV therapy preferred

• Excellent attendance and no disciplinary issues
