Registered Nurse - Urology Procedures

Advance your nursing practice as a Registered Nurse specializing in Urology procedures. This position focuses on patient care in the Cystoscopy Suite.

As an RN, you will be responsible for patient preparation for Cystoscopic and Urodynamic procedures, assisting with bladder instillations, and performing catheterizations. Candidates should have a current Ontario registration and BCLS certification, alongside a post-graduate O.R. certificate. Demonstrated Urological expertise and recent surgical oncology experience will be beneficial in this collaborative role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for various Urological procedures

• Assist in bladder instillation processes

• Perform precise catheterizations during interventions

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

• Provide mentorship to nursing students

Requirements:

• Current Ontario Registered Nurse license

• Recent experience in Urodynamics essential

•

B.Sc.N. degree preferred

• Strong personal development interest

• Excellent teaching and organizational skills
