This temporary part-time role at the Oncology Nursing Leadership department requires you to provide specialized clinical care and coordination for AYA patients. You will work closely with neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and other supportive care teams to ensure seamless transitions and effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and prescribe therapies
• Manage acute and chronic complications for patients
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams including neurosurgery
• Support palliative care integration and advanced planning
• Assist families in navigating complex treatment plans
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse Practitioner with Ontario College
• Master's degree in Nursing required
• Five years of relevant nursing experience
• Three years in neuro-oncology preferred
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support required
