Humber River Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the Mother Baby Unit. In this role, you will assess and support ante-partum and post-partum women alongside their newborns, promoting effective education and family involvement. Your ability to work flexible hours will be essential for maintaining care continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and support mothers and newborn infants' health
• Educate patients and families about care practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Uphold excellent organizational skills in a busy setting
• Participate in family-centered care initiatives
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Certification in BCLS/CPR upon hire
• NRP certification mandatory within three months
• Previous ante-partum and post-partum experience
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability
