PACU Registered Nurse

Position: PACU Registered Nurse at Humber River Health
Elevate post-operative care as a Registered Nurse in the PACU at Humber River Health. This casual role requires advanced pain management for a diverse patient population, all within a supportive team environment.

As a PACU Registered Nurse, you'll provide specialized care for patients in post-operative recovery at Humber River Health in North West Toronto. You'll utilize computerized systems for accurate documentation, manage ventilated patients, and support recovery from various anesthesia types.

Your role is crucial for ensuring high reliability care in a community-academic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients in immediate post-operative recovery

• Manage pain and airway based on individual patient needs

• Care for patients recovering from various anesthetics

• Utilize computerized systems for patient documentation

• Support ventilated patients throughout their recovery

Requirements:

• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• BCLS certification upon hire

• PACU certification to be obtained within 6 months

• Current Critical Care or Emergency Nursing certification required

• Minimum 1 year Critical Care or Emergency experience needed
